Several years ago, a European/North American customer specializing in barbecue grills found us while searching for a manufacturing partner in China.
Their requirements appeared simple: high-volume production, consistent quality, and on-time delivery.
However, during actual project execution, the customer needed far more than that.
They did not need a sheet metal supplier that only performed cutting and bending. They needed a long-term manufacturing partner capable of turning raw materials into complete barbecue grills while also handling packaging and shipment.
The Baoxuan factory delivered 200,000 complete barbecue grills during the past year.
Its production scope covered everything from stamped parts to complete product assembly, packaging, and products ready for direct ocean shipment.
What Products Does the Project Cover?
The project includes multiple barbecue grill models and different configurations.
Each model has its own set of metal parts. The main components we manufacture include:

How Do We Complete Production?
The production system at our Baoxuan factory is not made up of several independent workshops. Instead, it operates as one continuous production process.
Cutting → Forming → Stamping → Welding → Surface Treatment → Assembly → Container Loading
Except for parts with specific requirements, most components do not need to leave the factory.
After each process is completed, the parts move directly into the next production stage.
This is very important for maintaining stable quality because every handover between processes can introduce risks.
For example, a batch of parts may leave one factory, be transported to another factory for coating, and then be sent to a third factory for assembly.
Each transfer may cause problems such as part damage.
Concentrating the entire production chain within the same factory reduces the quality fluctuations that can occur when multiple suppliers participate in manufacturing.
This is also one of the reasons why the Baoxuan factory can achieve an annual delivery volume of 200,000 sets.
What Products Do We Ultimately Deliver?
The delivery method varies between orders.
Our customer sometimes places different types of orders. They may require only formed parts without surface treatment, or they may require complete barbecue grills.
We can deliver all of these requirements.

Which Parts Are the Most Difficult to Keep Consistent?
Although a barbecue grill is not a precision instrument, that does not mean it is easy to manufacture.
The real challenge is not producing one qualified barbecue grill.
The real challenge is continuously producing thousands of units while keeping them consistent.
Our factory uses fixed tooling, standardized processes, and inspection at each production stage.
Potential variables must be controlled to produce consistent products.
What Do These Numbers Mean?
What does delivering 200,000 complete barbecue grills within one year represent?
The grills cover multiple models and configurations.
The same factory can deliver products ranging from individual parts and structural assemblies to complete finished products.
This requires the factory to have:
- Complete and well-integrated manufacturing processes
- Reasonable production planning and scheduling
- Efficient material movement
- A strong quality awareness across the entire workforce
Almost any factory may be able to produce a batch of samples that satisfies a customer.
However, maintaining production at this scale and delivering consistently for several consecutive years demonstrates the real manufacturing strength of our factory.
