Body and Cooking Chamber
The cooking chamber — whether barrel-shaped, kettle-style, or rectangular — can be formed from a single sheet or welded from multiple panels depending on the design. Depending on the material grade and target product positioning, sheet thickness typically ranges from 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm. Heavier-gauge steel provides better heat retention and helps reduce warping during repeated heating and cooling cycles.
Airflow Path
Temperature control in a charcoal grill depends on effective airflow management. We engineer a defined airflow path: bottom intake vents supply oxygen to the charcoal bed, while adjustable exhaust vents in the lid regulate draft and internal pressure. The vent components are laser-cut to maintain consistent opening profiles and fitted with damper plates that slide or rotate smoothly — essential for precise temperature control during extended low-and-slow cooking.

Charcoal Grate and Height Adjustment
The charcoal grate is positioned below the cooking surface and above the ash collection area. We offer adjustable-height charcoal grate systems using either a slot-and-pin mechanism or a multi-level track system, allowing the charcoal bed to be raised or lowered by 50–150 mm.
